Greetings from Berlin
What's Up in Germany's capital this March!
Back to MunichMetropolisThrough April 25"Metropolis" by German director Fritz Lang was one of the most expensive silent movies of all times and has become one of the most influential science fiction films in film history. On the occasion of the successful reconstruction of the original version of "Metropolis," which premiered in 1927 in Berlin, the Berlin Film Museum presents props, costume designs and excerpts of Lang’s screenplay. The exhibition will also feature the restored film scenes, which were found in Buenos Aires in 2008. For more information, visit

BestiaryThrough May 24Unique to the current art scene, American painter Walton Ford continues the tradition of 19th century animal drawings. However, far from accurate documentation Ford's animal scenes mix historical facts, scientific research and surreal imagery. His brilliant bestiaries can be considered a satire on environmental exploitation. For more information, visit
