The Amerika Haus will host a series of English-language theater nights bringing two of the most important figures of world literature to stage.
The Great GatsbyNovember 8-November 12:The Tour the Force Theatre ensemble will turn F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic into an absorbing theater play pointing out the contemporary relevance of the 1920s novel. In the "Great Gatsby" a young man, Nick, from Minnesota moves to New York and meets millionaire Jay Gatsby. As he is drawn into a world of money and decadence, Nick becomes the witness of unimaginable cynicism and selfishness.
MacbethNovember 17 & November 18:So far the TNT ensemble has presented its production of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" in over twenty countries. As part of this impressive tour, the theater group will also stop in Munich for two nights to stage the gory tale of Macbeth and his disastrous inability to decipher the witches' prophecies.
