Tone of Voice

Germany’s biggest “A Cappella” festival celebrates its seventh year. With 27 concerts performed by 39 ensembles from more than 10 countries, this year’s Vokal Total sounds off on October 10. Resonating nearly two months long, voices can be heard at Spectaculum Mundi in Fürstenried-West, with two dates for Vokal Total goes Muffathalle at the Muffathalle, on November 29 and January 24, into the coming year. Setting the tone for the event is the English “A Cappella Pop Stars” The Magnets, and fellow countrymen, the Flying Pickets, join The Idea of North and Acapelicans from down under, rounding off the harmonious event. Follow the music to Spectaculum Mundi, Graubündener Strasse 100—easily reached by taking the U3—where concerts begin at 8:30 pm.
