Feet First

Move over Martha Graham! If you wish to make dancing your career but are still dithering about what style would best suit you, waltz over to the lothringer13/Laden, an experimental media space, where a three-month dance exhibition, “ekahi—elua—ekolu—quarto,” is currently open to the public. Between now and August 4, the artists Vreni Spieser, Andrea E. Ehrat and Caroline Achaintre will screen videos, exhibit installations and perform live dance numbers that include such diverse elements as the Hawaiian hula and Baroque court dances. If you feel inspired to try out a dance routine yourself, either put on the provided headphones and jump onto one of the available dance platforms or enquire about the free dance workshops that are on offer. After July 6, opening times are by request only. Be sure to call in advance: (0179) 207 77 08 or (0179) 660 68 15.
