A high price to pay— since closing its doors on Leopoldstrasse several years ago, Häagen Dazs, the American ice cream emporium, has reopened on Schwabing’s most bustling street, this time at the corner of Franz-Josef-Strasse. Those who crave the creamy confection raced to the March opening only sadly to dish out a whopping € 2.30 a scoop.
