Did you know? (For Kids)

On Thursday, April 25, Opal Dunn, an internationally renowned educational consultant for language development, will present “REALpictureBOOKS”, for kids, in room 3149 at the Gasteig, from 3 pm–5 pm. Admission costs € 5, but is free for MELTA members.

On Friday, April 26, Münchner Kindle will host a children’s flea market on Burgstrasse 6 near Marienplatz. If you are interested in selling items, call (089) 24 23 16 00. Otherwise, show up between 2 pm–6 pm for an entertaining afternoon of bargain shopping with your kids.

The Munich Tourist Office now has a new pamphlet in circulation, catering to visitors with children. Pick up one of these handy information-packed leaflets (free of charge in the Munich Tourist Info booths at Marienplatz and Hauptbahnhof) to find out what children’s activities are being held in Bavaria—the booklet includes a city map and a section of twenty “highlights” for the whole family.
