Pierre Mendell
For many years, Pierre Mendell has made his mark throughout the city by way of sophisticated posters for museums, the Bavarian State Opera and the Münchner Volkshochschule (Munich Adult Education Center). Mendell’s works have earned numerous national and international prizes, including the acclaimed poetic poster series “(auf Deutsch:Liebe),” which the graphic artist created for the language department of the Münchner Volkshochschule. From April 4 through June 5, Gasteig will present a comprehensive selection of Mendell’s posters for the Adult Education Center, which have promoted the center’s program for the past twelve years.
