Cecilia Bartoli, considered the best mezzo-soprano performing today, will take the stage at the Philharmonie in Gasteig on December 2 at 7 pm. Mozart and Rossini are frequent favorites of the singer, but any selection from her Baroque-heavy repertoire is sure to dazzle. Tickets are from € 55.90 to € 167.90.
Reigning R&B starlet
Rihanna is a Barbardos-born song & dance package. The protégé of no less than Def Jam’s Jay-Z, she’s had a short career of many highlights, from 2005’s “Pon de Replay” to this summer’s ubiquitous “Umbrella.” The November 13 concert at Zenith is a bit of a bargain at € 38.30.
