Many people worldwide mark 9/11 in quiet solitude or with memorial ceremonies, while others choose to celebrate life. This September 11, the Bavarian American Center (BAZ) will host “Engaging the World after September 11th,” a talk in English at the Amerika Haus, beginning at 7 pm. US Consul General Eric G. Nelson will provide introductory remarks and Farah Pandith, Senior Advisor for Muslim Engagement to the Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried, will speak about the importance of a continued dialogue between all people and religions to deprive violent Islamic extremism of its breeding ground.
