Summer Pop Concerts

• Despite their status as one of the top 30 highest-selling acts of all time, Genesis had only one number-one single in the U.S. Perhaps then it’s no surprise that they’re beginning their first tour in fifteen years here in Europe. Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford will play Olympic Stadium on July 10 at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale for € 66.80–95.50 and are almost sold out.

Michael Bolton has long been the ladies’ man of soft pop. Now, he steps into the shoes of an even greater Lothario in his newest album, “Bolton Swings Sinatra.” His tour—perhaps with girlfriend Nicolette Sheridan in tow—stops at Gasteig Philharmonic on July 11 at 8 pm. Tickets cost € 46–62.50.

• After breaking onto the pop scene with “Don’t Know Why,” American artist Norah Jones (pictured here) has garnered increasing critical acclaim, if less radio airplay. Munich will be the first German stop on her European tour, on July 16, at 8 pm, in Olympiahalle. Tickets are on sale for € 25.50–77.25
