City Triathlon
Pros and weekend warriors alike will tread in the steps of Olympians during the 5th annual City Triathlon on May 27. The race begins with a 400m swim in Olympiabad, the pool where Mark Spitz won his seven gold medals. A 20km ride around the historic Olympic Park grounds is followed by a final 5km run from the base of the famed Olympic Stadium. For spectators, it’s a chance to see the Olympic grounds buzzing with the athletic activity for which they were built. The first racers will begin at 8:45 am.
