Munich Jazzed Up

Over the next six weeks, the Süddeutsche Zeitung will continue its presentation of a marvelous jazz and classical concert series, held in Munich’s charming Brunnenhof at the Residenz. Among the extensive list of SZ Open Air 2006 performances too numerous to mention are: July 3–flutist András Adorján; July 6– Melvin Edmondson & Björn Wüllgraf Orchestra’s tribute to Nat King Cole; July 28–the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto; July 30–Sunday-morning Boogie Woogie with Axel and Torsten Zwingenberger; August 10– The Swingle Singers, Bach, Mozart, the Beatles and Beyond; August 12–a tribute to Louis Armstrong; August 13–a night of lively music, dance and cocktails at the event finale, Cuba Party.
